Your First Visit In Mt Eliza

Your First Visit at The Smile Place

Facility

Our aim is to provide high quality, gentle dental care in a relaxed environment. We welcome all patients as if they were family, and encourage you to tell us about any concerns before your appointment.

Our rooms are as relaxing as possible! We use essential oils and chill-out music in our reception area. You can even choose to watch a DVD in our treatment rooms.

Appointments

If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by email or phone. Our reception staff would be delighted to make an appointment to fit in with your schedule.

We keep emergency appointments available for patients, just in case something unexpected happens. Contact the practice about urgent dental care; emergency appointments are subject to availability. For care outside our regular hours, see the after-hours information on our Contact Us page.

Health Fund Claims

We are happy to provide the HICAPS facility which enables claims from most funds directly at the time of your appointment. By claiming your health fund benefit at our office, you will only need to cover the gap payment.

Our practice information lists HICAPS claims for Medibank Private, BUPA (including HBA), Peoplecare, Navy Health, Defence Health, Teachers Health Fund, Police Health, Doctors Health Fund, Australian Unity, NIB, AHM, Westfund, GMHBA, HBF, HCF, GMF, CBHS, LaTrobe, Uni Health Insurance, HIF, St Lukes Health, CUA, TUH, GUHealth, Frank Health Insurance, Fit Health Insurance, API Health Linx, ACA Health, MDHF, RT Health, Budget Direct, RACT Health Insurance, Queensland Country Health Club and onemedifund.

Please bring your health fund card and confirm current claiming arrangements with reception. Your rebate depends on your fund, level of cover and treatment. Electronic claiming allows you to pay the balance remaining after your fund’s benefit.

Credit Card Surcharge

Credit Card Surcharge Effective 1st March 2025

Starting from 1st March 2025, a 0.95% surcharge will apply to all payments made by credit and debit cards. This change helps us cover processing costs and continue providing quality service.
